The Nir Yeshiva of Kiryat Arba is a Hesder Yeshiva, headed by Rabbi Noam Waldman. The Yeshiva’s president is Rabbi Eliezer Waldman Zt”l. Established in 1972 [after several years of operating in Chevron itself], the Nir Yeshiva was a pioneer Torah institution in the Chevron mountains. Its alumni have founded several settlements in the south Chevron region, like Ma’on and Beit Chagai.
